307. Similarly: given the hypotenuse cc and the sum of the legs

S=a+b S=a+b

c2=a2+b2 c^{2}=a^{2}+b^{2}

and

S2=a2+b2+2ab S^{2}=a^{2}+b^{2}+2 a b

Then

S2c2=2ab S^{2}-c^{2}=2 a b

from which

ab=S2c22 a b=\frac{S^{2}-c^{2}}{2}

The legs aa and bb can be found from the sum and the product.
