(A) [x]=x[x]=|x|.
(B) [x]x2[x] \geqslant \sqrt{x^{2}}.
(C) [x]>x[x]>-x
(D) [x]>x1[x]>x-1.

[Solution] The range of [x][x] takes all integers. [2]=2[-2]=-2, while 2=2|-2|=2, (2)2=2\sqrt{(-2)^{2}}=2. We can eliminate (A),(B)(A),(B),
also (2)=2-(-2)=2, so [2]<(2)[-2]<-(-2), we can eliminate (C)(C).
Therefore, the answer is (D)(D).
