Geometry Difficulty 6.0 National Olympiad Prove it United Kingdom

Points AA, BB, CC, DD and EE lie, in that order, on a circle and the lines ABAB and EDED are parallel. Prove that ABC=90\angle ABC = 90^\circ if, and only if, AC2=BD2+CE2AC^2 = BD^2 + CE^2.
