need to score in their 6th game to increase their average to $4$ goals per game?

which the Eulers averaged $3$ goals
per game, they scored a total of $5\times3=15$ goals.

To average $4$ goals per game over
the $6$ games, they need to score a
total of $4\times6=24$ goals. Thus in
the 6th game, the Eulers need to score $24-15=9$ goals.
