Converting each of the improper fractions to a mixed fraction, we get 52=212,114=234,\frac52=2\frac12, \frac{11}{4}=2\frac34, 115=215,134=314,\frac{11}{5}=2\frac15, \frac{13}{4}=3\frac14, and 135=235\frac{13}{5}=2\frac35.

Of the five answers given, the number that lies between 3 and 4 on a number line is 3143\frac14 or 134\frac{13}{4}.
