Solution

The distance between 00 and 44 along the number line is 44. The tick marks divide this distance into 1616 equal lengths, and so the distance between adjacent tick marks is 416=0.25\dfrac{4}{16}=0.25. The number TT is 33 tick marks to the right of 00, and thus the value of TT is 3×0.25=0.753\times0.25=0.75.
