The volume of a prism is equal to the area of its base times its
depth.

Here, the prism has identical bases with area 400 cm2400\text{ cm}^2 and depth 8 cm8\text{ cm}, and so its volume is $400\$400\text{} cm}^2 ×8\times 8\text{} cm} = 32003200\text{}
cm}^3$.
