Algebra Difficulty 3.0 AMC 10/12 Prove it Canada

In the diagram, a line is drawn through the points A(0,16)A(0,16) and B(8,0)B(8,0). Point PP is chosen in the first quadrant on the line through AA and BB. Points CC and DD are then chosen on the xx-axis and yy-axis, respectively, so that PDOCPDOC is a rectangle.

(a) Determine the equation of the line through AA and BB.

(b) Determine the coordinates of the point PP so that PDOCPDOC is a square.

(c) Determine the coordinates of all points PP that can be chosen so that the area of rectangle PDOCPDOC is 30.
