Algebra Difficulty 1.2 Junior Find the answer Canada

If 50%50\% of NN is 16, then 75%75\% of NN is

Pick one

Solution

The percentage 50% is equivalent to the fraction 12\frac{1}{2}, while 75% is equivalent to 34\frac{3}{4}.

Since 50% of NN is 16, then 12N=16\frac{1}{2}N=16 or N=32N=32.

Therefore, 75% of NN is 34N\frac{3}{4}N or 34(32)\frac{3}{4}(32), which equals 24.
