Geometry Difficulty 1.3 Junior Find the answer Canada

In the diagram, the shape is created from five squares. The shape
is reflected in the horizontal line below it.

The orientation of the shape as a result of the reflection is

(A) (B) [[IMAGE1]] (C) [[IMAGE2]] (D) [[IMAGE3]] (E) [[IMAGE4]]

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

Following the reflection, the resulting shape is a mirror image
of the original shape in the horizontal line. The resulting image has
the same size and shape as the original. The following diagram has
the original shape, the horizontal line, and the reflected image below
it.

The correct answer is the figure shown in (D).
