Geometry Difficulty 5.7 AIME, harder Prove it Russia

The altitudes of an acute-angled triangle ABCABC meet at HH. The points B1B_1 and C1C_1 are chosen on the segments BHBH and CHCH, respectively, so that B1C1∥BCB_1C_1 \parallel BC. It appeared that the center of the circumcircle ω\omega of △B1HC1\triangle B_1HC_1 lies on the line BCBC. Prove that ω\omega is tangent to the circumcircle Γ\Gamma of △ABC\triangle ABC.

(A. Kuznetsov)

Solution

Figure 1
