Problem:
Given a circle, diameter ABAB and a point CC on ABAB, show how to construct two points XX and YY on the circle such that (1) YY is the reflection of XX in the line ABAB, (2) YCYC is perpendicular to XAXA.

ABAB is a diameter, so BXBX is perpendicular to AXAX and hence parallel to YCYC. YXYX is perpendicular to BCBC, so YC=YBYC = YB. Hence XX and YY lie on the perpendicular bisector of BCBC.
