Geometry Difficulty 4.9 AIME Find the answer Netherlands

We have a triangle ABC\triangle ABC and two points DD and EE on the line segment BCBC, such that BAD=DAE=EAC\angle BAD = \angle DAE = \angle EAC. Furthermore, AB=6|AB| = 6, BD=4|BD| = 4, DE=2|DE| = 2, and EA=3|EA| = 3. See the picture on the right: be aware, it is not drawn to scale!

What is the length of the line segment CECE?

This was a multiple-choice question, but the options didn't survive into the source we have. The answer given is E, and the solution below works it through.
