Thus, the length of one side of the equilateral triangle is 32(83)=16, and its area is 21(83)(16)=643 Since the area of the trapezoid is three times that of the equilateral triangle, we have (height)×(median of the trapezoid)=3⋅64383×(median of the trapezoid)=3⋅643median of the trapezoid=24
