Number theory Difficulty 5.4 AIME, harder Find the answer

Example 3 Find da1d\sum_{d \mid a} \frac{1}{d}.

A number or a short expression. Spacing and $ signs are ignored.

Solution

From Theorem 2 in § 2, we know
da1d=da1(a/d)=1adad=1aσ(a).\sum_{d \mid a} \frac{1}{d}=\sum_{d \mid a} \frac{1}{(a / d)}=\frac{1}{a} \sum_{d \mid a} d=\frac{1}{a} \sigma(a) .

From this and Example 2, we can obtain
d1801d=1180σ(180)=9130.\sum_{d \mid 180} \frac{1}{d}=\frac{1}{180} \sigma(180)=\frac{91}{30} .
