21. Let n,hn, h be positive integers. Prove: Among the positive integers not exceeding nhn h, the number of integers that are coprime to nn is equal to hφ(n)h \varphi(n).

Solution

21. For the given t,tm+1,tm+2,,tm+mt, t m+1, t m+2, \cdots, t m+m there are exactly φ(m)\varphi(m) numbers that are coprime with mm.
