If u=−6 and x=31(3−4u), what is the value of x?
A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.
Solution
Substituting, x=31(3−4u)=31(3−4(−6))=31(3+24)=31(27)=9.
