What is the area of rectangle $PQRS$ if the perimeter of rectangle $TVWY$ is 60?

Solution

The perimeter of $TVWY$ is 60, so $12r = 60$ or $r = 5$ . The area of $PQRS$ is $30 \times 20 = 600$ .
