Geometry Difficulty 4.5 AIME Find the answer

Let LOVERL O V E R be a convex pentagon such that LOVEL O V E is a rectangle. Given that OV=20O V=20 and LO=VE=RE=RL=23L O=V E=R E=R L=23, compute the radius of the circle passing through R,OR, O, and VV.

Solution

Let XX be the point such that RXOLR X O L is a rhombus. Note that line RXR X defines a line of symmetry on the pentagon LOVERL O V E R. Then by symmetry RXVER X V E is also a rhombus, so RX=OX=VX=23R X=O X=V X=23. This makes XX the center of the circle, and the radius is 23.
