Number theory Difficulty 3.0 AMC 10/12 Prove it United Kingdom

Define f(x)f(x) to be the integer part of x3\sqrt[3]{x}; for example 3.3753=1.5\sqrt[3]{3.375} = 1.5 so f(3.375)=1f(3.375) = 1, 932.08\sqrt[3]{9} \approx 2.08 so f(9)=2f(9) = 2, and 273=3\sqrt[3]{27} = 3 so f(27)=3f(27) = 3. Write down the first six positive cube numbers. Hence write down the value of f(122)f(122).
