How many ways can the integers from 7-7 to 77 be arranged in a sequence such that the absolute value of the numbers in the sequence is nondecreasing?

Solution:

Each of the pairs a,aa, -a must occur in increasing order of aa for a=1,,7a = 1, \ldots, 7, but aa can either occur before or after a-a, for a total of 27=1282^{7} = 128 possible sequences.
