A3. If $x$ is the height of the entire pole, its half measures $\frac{x}{2}$ , and its third $\frac{x}{3}$ . From the equation $\frac{x}{3}+\frac{x}{2}+1.5 \text{ m}=x$ , we find that the height of the pole is $x=9 \text{ m}$ .
