Algebra Difficulty 1.1 Junior Find the answer Canada

How many of the numbers 4-4,
2-2, 3.5-3.5, 2.5-2.5, and 66 are to the left of 3-3 when placed on the number line?

Pick one

Solution

Numbers to the left of 3-3 on
a number line are less than 3-3 (and
numbers to the right are greater). Exactly 22 of the given numbers, namely 4-4 and 3.5-3.5, are less than 3-3 and thus would be placed to the left
of 3-3 on the number line.
