Which of these fractions is equivalent to 1525\frac{15}{25}?

Solution

Both the numerator and the denominator are divisible by 5.
Dividing, we get 1525=15÷525÷5=35\frac{15}{25}=\frac{15\div5}{25\div5}=\frac35. Therefore, 1525\frac{15}{25} is equivalent to 35\frac35.
