Solutions — 2

Solution 1

Since 8=2×2×2=238 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 = 2^3, then 820=(23)20=23×20=2608^{20} = (2^3)^{20} = 2^{3 \times 20} = 2^{60}.

Thus, if 2n=8202^n = 8^{20}, then n=60n = 60.

Solution 2

Since 8=2×2×2=238 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 = 2^3, then 820=(23)20=23×20=2608^{20} = (2^3)^{20} = 2^{3 \times 20} = 2^{60}.
Thus, if 2n=8202^n = 8^{20}, then n=60n = 60.
