Since QQ is halfway between PP and RR, then the distance between PP and QQ is equal to the distance between QQ and RR.

The distance between PP and QQ is 1(6)=1+6=5-1-(-6)=-1+6=5.

Since PP is 5 units to the left of QQ, then RR is 5 units to the right of QQ.

That is, RR is located at 1+5=4-1+5=4 on the number line.
