Solution

The ratio of the number of spoons to the number of forks is 1:21:2, which means that for each spoon in
the drawer, there are 22 forks in
the drawer.

That is, the spoons and forks in the drawer can be separated into groups
of 33 (11 spoon and 22 forks), and thus the total number of
spoons and forks in the drawer must be a multiple of 33.

Each of the answers 1212, 66, 1818, and 33 is a multiple of 33.

The only answer given that is not a multiple of 33 is 1010, and so the total number of spoons and
forks in the drawer cannot be 1010.
