Given is circle Γ\Gamma with center in point OO and diameter ABAB. OBDEOBDE is a square, FF is the second point of intersection of ADAD and circle Γ\Gamma, CC is the middle of the segment AFAF. Find the value of the angle OCBOCB.

Solution

Since ABAB is a diameter, then AFB=90\angle AFB = 90^\circ, and COFBCO \parallel FB as the middle segment. Therefore, COCDCO \perp CD and quadrilateral OBDCOBDC is inscribed. Hence, OCB=ODB=45\angle OCB = \angle ODB = 45^\circ.
