If 2.4×1082.4 \times 10^{8} is doubled, what is the result?

Solution

When 2.4×1082.4 \times 10^{8} is doubled, the result is 2×2.4×108=4.8×1082 \times 2.4 \times 10^{8}=4.8 \times 10^{8}.
