Algebra Difficulty 1.8 Junior Find the answer

What fraction of the pizza is left for Wally if Jovin takes 13\frac{1}{3} of the pizza, Anna takes 16\frac{1}{6} of the pizza, and Olivia takes 14\frac{1}{4} of the pizza?

A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.

Solution

Since Jovin, Anna and Olivia take 13,16\frac{1}{3}, \frac{1}{6} and 14\frac{1}{4} of the pizza, respectively, then the fraction of the pizza with which Wally is left is
1131614=1212412212312=312=14 1-\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{6}-\frac{1}{4}=\frac{12}{12}-\frac{4}{12}-\frac{2}{12}-\frac{3}{12}=\frac{3}{12}=\frac{1}{4}
