Algebra Difficulty 1.7 Junior Find the answer
If 3+△=5 and △+□=7, what is the value of △+Δ+Δ+□+□?
A number or a short expression. Fractions can be typed as 3/2, and spacing doesn't matter.
Solution
Since 3+△=5, then △=5−3=2. Since △+□=7 and △=2, then □=5. Thus, △+Δ+Δ+□+□=3×2+2×5=6+10=16.
