The expression (5×5)+(5×5)+(5×5)+(5×5)+(5×5)(5 \times 5)+(5 \times 5)+(5 \times 5)+(5 \times 5)+(5 \times 5) is equal to what?

Solution

The given sum includes 5 terms each equal to (5×5)(5 \times 5). Thus, the given sum is equal to 5×(5×5)5 \times(5 \times 5) which equals 5×255 \times 25 or 125.
