We look at each of the five choices:

3(x+2)=3x+63(x+2) = 3x + 6
9x183=9x3+183=3x+6\dfrac{-9x-18}{-3} = \dfrac{-9x}{-3} + \dfrac{-18}{-3} = 3x + 6
13(3x)+23(9)=x+6\dfrac{1}{3}(3x) + \dfrac{2}{3}(9) = x + 6
13(9x+18)=3x+6\dfrac{1}{3}(9x+18) = 3x + 6
3x2(3)=3x+(2)(3)=3x+63x - 2(-3) = 3x + (-2)(-3) = 3x + 6
