Algebra Difficulty 1.3 Junior Find the answer Canada

Mauricio goes for a walk every day for five consecutive days. On
the first day, he walks for 1111
minutes. Each day after the first, he walks for 33 minutes longer than he walked the day
before. In minutes, what is the total time that he walks over the five
days?

Pick one

Solution

On the second day, Mauricio walks 11+3=1411+3=14 minutes. On the third day he
walks 1717 minutes. On the fourth
day, he walks 2020 minutes. On the
fifth day, he walks 2323 minutes. In
total, Mauricio walks 11+14+17+20+23=8511+14+17+20+23=85 minutes over the five
days.
