Algebra Difficulty 1.5 Junior Find the answer

Calculate the expression 8×105+4×103+9×10+58 \times 10^{5}+4 \times 10^{3}+9 \times 10+5.

A number or a short expression. Spacing and $ signs are ignored.

Solution

First, we write out the powers of 10 in full to obtain 8×100000+4×1000+9×10+58 \times 100000+4 \times 1000+9 \times 10+5. Simplifying, we obtain 800000+4000+90+5800000+4000+90+5 or 804095.
