Algebra Difficulty 1.7 Junior Find the answer

If x+25=36x+\sqrt{25}=\sqrt{36}, what is the value of xx?

A number or a short expression. Spacing and $ signs are ignored.

Solution

Since x+25=36x+\sqrt{25}=\sqrt{36}, then x+5=6x+5=6 or x=1x=1.
